Social media isn’t all bad. It was through chef David Chang’s instagram that I found out about Anyday. Apparently, he’s a partner in this new brand of hybrid cookware and food storage. The bowls are frosted borosilicate glass, so they’re extra durable and thermal-shock resistant, but the key is in the brand’s unique lids which actually allow you to cook in the microwave—not just heat things up. The glass lid has a silicone gasket and a pop-up knob to let steam escape. When you’re done, press the knob back down to create an airtight, stackable container for the leftovers.
